Yesterday evening, Ida gave birth to two boy lambs. Which means we now have six male lambs in Tønsåsen! Ida's lambs, named Sepp and Franz, are fairly small and so have stayed indoors with their mother today. An eagle family lives just up the hill and Sepp and Franz could be easy prey before they learn to move about properly (24-48 hours). Ida seems to enjoy motherhood to the full, constantly making sure her lambs are okay and that they have good access to milk.

Boys boys boys!
