Our friend Anne-Tove has an elderly aunt who loves wool work. We had plenty of wool from last year, but neither the skills nor the time to process it into anything beyond fluff. So we donated the wool to Anne-Tove’s aunt, happy that anyone could make use of what Isadora, Elke, Ida and Inga had wanted no more. Then, all of a sudden, there were gifts arriving at our door. First, a pair of wooly socks, and then a whole bag full of beautiful yarn. These are truly magic gifts! And a reminder of what wooly jumpers used to be made of.

Precious gifts
