After a hectic early June with exams to organise for both of us, last week was filled to the brim with professional and social events - all connected to the Medical Peace Work partner workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday and the symposium Educating Health Workers for Peace on Thursday and Friday. On Tuesday we invited the MPW project partners out to Tønsåsen for a barbeque, and despite a breeze from the north that pushed temperature down to an unwelcoming 7 on the Celsius scale, it was nice to bring everyone together in such an informal manner (any signs of ties or designer shirts quickly disappeared behind several layers of fleece and wool). On the picture, Maria Kett from the UK, Cæcilie Buhman from Denmark and Klaus enjoy Gran Feudo wine and having just received another supply of blankets.
