All of a sudden, the forest has gone from green to yellow and bright orange. As the wind gains strenght and the temperature falls, it's time to harvest whatever is left in the vegetable fields and make sure we have enough firewood stacked in the logshed to keep us warm through the winter. So this weekend, we spent most of Saturday chopping and cleaving wood while Sunday was dedicated to spuds. Nina came out to Tønsåsen to help us with the harvest, and as evening fell we held what has now become a small tradition: Potato party! What was on the menu? Well, potato omelette, oven-baked potatoes, potatoes with cheese, potato-apple strudel...
