While Klaus and I have been to Sri Lanka, Hillary has built a chicken mezzanine in the goose house. It looks really good, and makes a lot of sense as the weather now has turned quite cold. Chicken are originally tropical birds (we actually saw some wild ones in Sri Lanka!), and without a properly insulated housing arrangement, they would face a very unpleasant winter here in Tønsåsen. Yesterday the chicken moved into their winter residence. Well, they're actually two hens and a cock: Fifi, Blomst (Flower) and Gimpy. Welcome! May there be many eggs...

New tenants
