Eagle attack

Sad news from Tønsåsen this morning, as one of our geese, Lenz, has been killed by an eagle. Normally, we lock up the geese at night, to protect them from predators like eagles, otters and fox. Yesterday evening, however, the geese refused to return from the seashore where they hang out at daytime and so they spent the night out in the open. Bad idea! Klaus has now put Gustav, Gerd, Liv and Lodve (or Lotte, as it seems to be a female) into the shed while we work on some new safety routines...
