While the snow these days is coming down (or shooting sideways) in huge buckets, Isabella early this morning gave birth to two lambs - a 'girl' and a 'boy'. We were quite surprised, partly because is it very unusual for one-year-old viking sheep to have two lambs, and partly because she's the smallest yet the first one out. Elke seems a bit confused about whether perhaps these lambs are hers, and we suspect she will have her own quite soon, too. So spring is definitely underway, even if there's nothing spring-like at all about the outdoors right now!

The view from our breakfast table two days away from May!
