Three of our four female sheep have now given birth to two lambs each. One of Elke's lambs, born late on Tuesday, may have a problem with his hips. As a consequence, Elke has become very reluctant to feed him, and we have now started a combination of bottlefeeding and 'holding Elke while Elling speed-drinks'. So far, this seems to work well, and little Elling is gaining strenght almost by the hour. With the strength, his hips also seem better, so fingers crossed it will work out well for all. Here's a picture of when Elling was a mere 15 minutes old.

Back to bottles
