Hurra!

Constitution day was a rainy event in northern Norway this year, which is good for spring progress but not so good for scores of dressed-up children intent to stay outdoors and eat bucketloads of ice cream and pølse. In Tønsåsen we kept a low celebration profile, less the compulsory flag on the pole and Kristin's Lukket valnøtt - a marzipan and cream cake that there is no way around on søttendemai (in Kristin's mind). So cake there was, and Hillary, Susanne, Leif and Emily (with their balloons still at good height) came over to help us eat it and say Hurra. Indoors, that is...
