When winter recedes and the weather gets warmer, viking sheep lose their wool (otherwise they would probably itch and scratch themselves to death). Without any human intereference, the sheep will look particularly wild for a while, until big chunks of wool start to adorn nearby trees and bushes. Alternatively, we can peel off the wool and make use of it. Since it doesn't need cutting like regular sheep wool, peeled-off viking sheep wool will not itch once turned into garments. The fibres simply have no sharp edges. Isadora has started to lose her wool now and Klaus helps her get rid of it. It's a win-win. Isadora gets to be pampered (scratched!) for hours on end and Klaus can keep whatever he peels off. The Isadora-gets-herself-a-wig alternative in the picture was quickly dismissed due to uncontrolled laughter among the sheep.
