Early this morning, Isadora gave birth to two boy lambs: Lars and Kurt! All seems well despite the chilly weather and one-metre layer of snow. Isadora refused to miss breakfast and so ran straight outside as soon as I opened the sheephouse door. Kurt bravely made an attempt to follow while Lars stood in the doorway uttering a few thin, desperate baahs. Now, after a couple of hours, both lambs have had breakfast too, and they are resting in the sun with their mother. Lars is black with a white spot between the eyes, and Kurt is white and grey and black all over. Click on the pictures for larger versions.
