My return to Tønsåsen after three weeks away coincided with the first snow this autumn. And it doesn't appear to be stopping soon either. With temperatures suddenly falling last night and no end to the downpour, we are losing sight of the grass quite quickly now (the picture was taken earlier this morning). Elke, Isadora, Ida, Inga and Eberhard are eating away at what they can still access, while we hurry with the last preparations for their new winter residence. The inner walls need varnishing and some lighting, and the door needs a handle (for us humans!), but otherwise the new sheep house is as good as ready. Can't wait to see if the sheep are as excited as we are...
